Nighthawk R6700 failed to optain IP address
Nighthawk R6700 firmware V1.0.2.16_10.0.57 Started upgrading home and adding smart switches, thermostates, garage door openers... Started having issues with devices going offline at random times. ...

router as a whole should be able to handle more.)

Adding a wireless access point should let you spread the devices
across more radios. Or, if you have devices which can use the 5GHz
band, or wired connections, then move them.
I discovered that my xfinity modem/router was not in the bridged mode once I bridged it, reset the system with my Orbi RBR750 as the main router and hooked up the additional router everything is working fine. I now have well over 40+ smart devices hooked up and operational. We'll see how reliable it is in the coming weeks.
