NO CELLPHONE-CAN I DOWNLOAD THE INSTRUCTIONS FOR MY NEW AC1000 TO MY COMPUTER?
I purchased the AC1000 Dual Band WiFi Router from BestBuy in Nashua, NH today after our old router died yesterday.
The box said "NIGHTHAWK APP WiFi Simplified". Such cute "markety-speak" -- totally useless. It does NOT say "NIGHTHAWK APP Wifi Required". If it had said that I wouldn't have purchased this model. Once I opened the box, I discovered the instructions for setup require that you download an app. Thats great for people with cellphones; however I live in an area with very poor to no cell connectivity - geographic limitation and I can't change geography - so I don't bother with having a cellphone. Out of necessity, everything is hardwire -- landline, internet and so on.
Is it possible for me to download the installation instructions for the AC1000 to my computer? If so, can you tell me where I can find them? Or if Netgear was feeling nice, you could email them to me?
Thank you

Model "R6080"? Look at the product label.

Perhaps because it's not. Visit http://netgear.com/support , put in
your (actual) model number, and look for Documentation. Get the User
Manual (at least). Read. Look for "Use a Web Browser to Access the
Router".And, even with a phone, I wouldn't expect cell connectivity to be
needed, only local wireless-network connectivity. You need to talk to
the router itself, not some remote thing.
