No Gigabit Network!!! Cables are fine!
Hi Guys,
i have 2 netgear devices 1x AC1200 and 1x gigabit switch (GS605) both are connected to a TP Link 24 Port Switch,
which shows me that both devices are only connected with 100mbps instead of 1000mbps. WHY ?????
if i use the same 2m cable (Cat5e) from the TP-Switch to a Computer, the TP Switch shows 1000mbps. only my 2 netgear devices won't work with gigabit lan and its frustrating.
i have 3 PCs, 1 NAS and so on an all are working fine with gigabit , but netgear hardware won't .... why ???? i already factory resetted the AC1200 and updated firmware. no luck... đ
thanks

Which one? AC1200 is not a reliable guide to model number. Many devices come with an AC tag, but it is essentially a label that Netgear, and other brands, attach to hardware to describe wifi speeds.
Look at the label on the device for the model number.

Not all Netgear AC1200 routers have gigabit ethernet.
