No IP address obtained from WAN connection
Ok, so this morning I reset my modem and router, because my connection seemed to slow down by quite a bit, and I started having trouble staying connected on my ps4. But after everything came back up, ...
- Jan 27, 2016Ive seemingly fixed the problem by enabling IPv6. But I was trying a playstation 4, and my windows 10 running desktop. My 2.4 was already on channel 11. And what I meant by getting through the SSID I meant that I'd put in the password, it'd accept the password, but it wouldn't get an IP address.

What's the 2.4GHz device you're trying to connect to the router? Is this a laptop, desktop pc, tablet, mobile phone?
Are you getting any error message when connecting the device?
When you say won't pass the SSID, does this mean it sees the SSID but when you try to input the password it won't accept it?
Have you tried changing the channel on the 2.4GHz?
See this article on how to get into the admin page of the router and change the channel.
I suggest that you try to use channel 1,6 and 11.
