"No ReadySHARE device detected"
I'm trying to setup ReadyShare on my R6200v2 router (Firmware v1.0.3.12). I have a PC hardwired to the router. Web access to the router shows the hard drive installed. I Installed Genie on the PC...
Thanks.I read up on SMB1 and ReadySHARE and solved the issue.
In order for the ReadySHARE drive to be accessed, I had to go to Control Panel | Programs and Features | Turn Windows features on or off | SMB 1.0/CIFS File Sharing Support | SMB 1.0/CIFS Client and set that ON and reboot.
If I understand what I read, the WannaCry vulnerability is with the Server, not the Client, and enabling the Client won't cause a problem.
I'm running Windows 10 Version 1803, Build 17133.1.
When I examined ReadyShareVault.exe, I found that its file description is "Genie Timeline" so that it why adding to the firewall said "Genie Timeline." In any case, adding it to the firewall exception made no difference.
I also cannot access the drive from Windows using \\name.

What exactly, shows what, exactly? What's listed under (BASIC >
ReadySHARE) "Available Network Folders"?

"cannot" is not a useful problem description. What happens when you
