No update action. There is no IP address on the Internet port. - ORBI

I had a power outage in Texas this last week and internet was down a while.  When it came up it changed the IP address and my no-ip dynamic dns did not work.  I have looked on line and looks like Netgear has this issue a lot and no resolution.  I am hoping that is not the case.  Does anyone have a solution?  Thanks so much.

Connected to what?  Some kind of modem, or what?

"it"?  Which "the IP address"?  "changed" from what to what?

Not really unexpected, is it?  Otherwise, why use "_Dynamic_ DNS"?

"did not work" is not a useful problem description.  It does not say
what you did.  It does not say what happened when you did it.  As usual,
showing actual actions (commands) with their actual results (error
messages, LED indicators, ...) can be more helpful than vague
    descriptions or interpretations.

"on line" is a very big place.  Thanks for the helpful links.

Some message which you got from something or other when you did
    something or other?  Or what?

It is connected to a Suddenlink Modem that assigns it a DHCP IP address.  This was the first time it has changed since I have used their services in 3 years.

When my modem and Orbi powered back up, the modem changed it's DHCP addressigned assigned to the router.  It was 47.221.225.x and now it is 47.221.245.x.  I manually was able to change it on no-ip.com to match the new IP assigned to it.

When I check the status page on my Orbi Dynamic-DNS it gives me the error:

      Advanced--> Advaned Setup-->Dynamic DNS--> (I'm using www.No-IP.com and logged in correctly)-->Show Status

No update action. There is no IP address on the Internet port.

I googled the error message: "No update action. There is no IP address on the Internet port."  I reviewed the only netgear result below:

      https://community.netgear.com/t5/DSL-Modems-Routers/DGND3700v2-and-DynDNS-Router-reports-There-is-no-IP-address-on/td-p/1006114

I also reviewed the other results that were from noip.com.

This was the exact message I received and I also googled it.  Upon my research, it seems like Netgear has done nothign to resolve it.  I would appreciate any assistance antinode

Not a very detailed description of that device, but if the router's
WAN/Internet interface is getting a public IP address, then that may be
all that we need to know.

        > [...] This was the first time it has changed since I have used their

How many such storms have you seen over that time?

        > When I check the status page [...]

Ok.  Clearly, if the router (WAN/Internet interface) _does_ have a
good IP address, then a complaint like "There is no IP address on the
Internet port" would suggest defective firmware.

        > V2.7.2.102

I see V2.7.2.104, but I wouldn't bet on its helpfulness.

Other than the usual last resort (settings reset, manual
reconfiguration), I have no suggestions.  (I have a real DNS name, so I
        don't deal much with DDNS.)

        > [...] it seems like Netgear has done nothign to resolve it. [...]

That's the impression I got.  An actual support case might get more
        action than complaints here, however.

        > [...] I would appreciate any assistance [...]

           Sorry to disappoint.
