No write permission on Readyshare after upgrade to V1.0.1.32_1.0.23

Hi there,

after i updated my firmware to V1.0.1.32_1.0.23 , all my linux maschines which use cifs to mount the readyshare have now no write permissions anymore.

The line used with fstab is:

//192.168.1.1/usb1 /home/mr87/readyshare cifs ,guest,uid=0,gid=0,rw,auto,file_mode=0777,dir_mode=0777 0 0

It has worked fine for many Months now and i didn't change anything else besides the update.

What do i have to change to make it work again?

Thanks in foreward

  • For whatever reason i now have to specificly add my gid and uid . Mounting it as root does not give write permissions to the other users anymore. So i guess it is not router related.
