Yes, they are normal and that is the indicator that it is blocking the attempts.

These null attacks seemed to replace the 'usual' entries and changed to null when I upgraded the firmware. My internet connection also seemed to be slower also with the browser giving a message 'waiting for....'. I reverted to the previous version and all is back to normal fast speed.

Oct 13, 2016Oddly enough, after downgrading back to the previous firmware - router is once again performing at its usual pace, now just the Net Genie doesn't work (again) - strange. Too bad the development team and the firmware team don't get together and meet in the middle so both pieces work together.
