Opening ports RBR40
I have a RBR40. I just need to open 1 port. No matter how hard I try...nope. I have followed every guide. Go to advanced settings, list the number and the device. Unblock in Windows firewall,...

Which? Why?
1194 for OpenVPN
Filled in port forwarding according to Netgear's instructions.
Also followed guide from NoIP...same result.
Used a port checker to test the port...still closed.
I have done this before using a Linksys router, with no issues.

Where is this OpenVPN running? How did you intend to connect to it?
From where?
> Filled in port forwarding according to Netgear's instructions.
And if someone with my weak psychic powers could guess which of
"Netgear's instructions" you were reading, and what you actually did
with them, then that (non-)description might have some actual value.

Thanks for the helpful link. Now you've followed two different
guides, both invisible. You could just post blank messages, and I'd
learn as much.
See "As usual, [...]", above. Which part of "actual" was unclear?
> I have done this before using a Linksys router, with no issues.
Swell. I can't see what you did then, either.

I see no answers to any of the questions there. My time is much more
valuable to me than it seems to be to you.

Is there any reason you have for being such an **bleep**?
The whole point in asking a question here, is that I am asking for help, not critisism.
If I acted the way you are in reply, I would be fired from my job. Although I suppose you're just being rude for free.
If you are aggravated or annoyed at how I am replying, then don't "help" me like you haven't been doing.
I expect to get help from a community, not what I am getting from you.
And btw, I didn't specfically ask for your help, you decided to reply. You are offering your "time". Don't **bleep** about being charitable.

Is there any reason you can't answer basic questions about what
you're doing, and what happens when you do it?> The whole point in asking a question here, is that I am asking for
> help, not critisism. It's often impossible to solve a problem without a useful description
of that problem. Constructive criticism explains what's wrong with your
(useless) problem description. (Your spelling's not great, either.)> [...] Although I suppose you're just being rude for free.
Rude? Who's wasting whose time with obviously poor non-information?
> I expect to get help from a community, not what I am getting from you.
If you "expect to get help" without answering basic questions, then
you might benefit from the results of a Web search for:
"life is like a sewer"> And btw, I didn't specfically ask for your help, you decided to reply.
> [...]True.

It's painfully obvious that one of us knows how to speak to other people, and the other one hides behind a keyborad all day for fear of in-person interaction. The simple fact that you resort to insulting someone's grammar or spelling only reinforces the fact that you are a mere troll. This "time" you speak of me wasting, matters only to you. No one is forcing you to reply.
As long as you are involved in the conversation, I will not provide any information to you.
You absolutely have the worst attitude of anyone I have ever had the displeasure of exchanging words with on a forum.
