Orbi RBR20 slow in spite of Cox Gigablast

Wired or wireless?

 

As well as plemans advice, some older laptops have wired Ethernet LAN that is stuck at 100 Mbps.

 

Then there are whatever drivers you may have on the laptop. It is all too easy to wind up with out of date drivers. Windows Update won't find updates for drivers.
