Orbi RBR350 Canon Printer
Ok, I bought a new ORBI MESH system and its set up ok. Using a RBR350 router base & RBS350 Satellite. Everything connects fine except my Canon TR8550 wireless printer? It connects to the network ok, ...

If your (unspecified) "my PC" expects to find the printer as some
particular IP address, and you change routers without arranging that,
then a failure would not amaze me.
Visit http://netgear.com/support , put in your model number, and look
for Documentation. Get the User Manual (at least). Read. Look for
"Reserve an IP address".
If you know the printer's old IP address, then specifying that on the
new router might work. Otherwise, reserve some address for it, and
then, on your (unspecified) "my PC", remove and reinstall the printer.
The printer is showing up on the Orbi App as connected to the Satellite but it is showing as Canon-TR7500 series?
Still not connecting to PC over the network?
I am not classed as an expert on all things network related, but through trial and error I have come up with the solution.
The PC was still hard wired to the original ISP router.
So thus was on a different network to that of the printer.
I removed the ethernet cable from the original router and plugged it in to the back of the Orbi RBR350 router and bingo!!

Ah. The (secret, unspecified) "original ISP router".
Depending on what your (secret, unspecified) "original ISP router"
actually is, and how you wish to use it with the RBR350, you might want
to configure things differently.If you can remove it completely, or configure it in some kind of
modem-only ("bridge") mode, then you might want to do that.If you want to retain your (secret, unspecified) "original ISP
router" as a router, then you might want to configure the RBR350 as a
wireless access point.Visit http://netgear.com/support , put in your model number, and look

"Use the router as a WiFi access point".
