password not resetting?

I have an RBR40 router and two satellites. I've used the Orbi app on my iPhone many many times and always logged in with TouchID. Today I had to log in to the router via the orbilogin.com website. The website wouldn't accept my passwords (don't know what they were set to) so I used the reset password option. I got it set to the password I want and was able to log in to the website from multiple browsers, so I'm successful. But now when I try to access the Orbi app on my iPhone it won't accept TouchID (says I have to enter the passwor first). So I enter the same password I used on the website and it says Login failed and to enter the correct admin password. But aren't they supposed to be the same password?
