    Hi PaulaP,

     

    You can try temporarily disabling the wireless adapter on the computer so that the only active connection is the one for Ethernet. You can go to the Control Panel > Network and Sharing Center > Change Adapter Settings > Right click on the wireless adapter > Disable.

yes, that solution worked.  For some reason I had WiFi enabled on my desktop.  Thank you for following up.
