Port forwarding no rout to host

Router is R6400v2

I have been trying to forward a port for the past couple days. I created a service in port forwarding, I reserved an ip address for my computer. I created a static ip on my computer (its the same as the one I reserved, and the same one used in port forwarding service). I allowed the port through my firewall, and have tried every trouble shoot I could find on the internet. The best I could get was a "no route to host" on canyouseeme.org while trying to forward the port. But no matter what I do I cant seem to get it to work. I dont know a lot about this stuff and a lot of the discussions that seemed like they would help were archived. I am thinking it might have to do with my router ip and/or my public ip but am not sure. What information should I post that would be helpful?
