Powerline 1000 not working anymore

Hi everyone, I bought the Powerline products with 2 adapters in April and they worled really well to get internet into my guest room (via an ethernet cable). But since last night they stopped working. Most of the time I cannot connect and then at some point I can but not for long. All the lights on both adaptors are green, so not sure what to do. Do you have any suggestions? Thanks a lot! Anna

    Powerline is sensitive to interference.

    things that can cause interference?

    old/bad wiring

    electronics going bad

    arc fault circuits

    surge protectors

    gfci outlets

    high draw appliances

    poorly made electronics

    extended runs (might be further than you think if on seperate circuits)

    and even some cell phone chargers add interference

     

    so the list of things that could cause issues. An easy (not foolproof) method to check them is to put both adapters on the same electrical circuit. Interference can still cause issues if its strong enough but with them on the same circuit it gives them the strongest connection. 

    If it works, the issue isn't with the powerline devices, its something injecting interference into the system.
