PR2000 bricked - can it be fixed?
Hi there, Last night I stupidly tried updating the firmware to v1.0.0.15 on my PR2000 via the wireless. Needless to say, it appears to have corrupted the device. The wifi no longer works (when I ...

Sorry to hear that. Sounds like it is really messed up. If I were you I'd bite the bullet and go for new replacement. To have any hope at least CFE (common firmware environment) should be intact. Sorry again.

It still has a chance to be unbricked, can you ping it using the command prompt? I would look in youtube and search for "how to unbrick a router" and you'll have to use the tftp method, download the program tftp2 and use that to try and unbrick it.

I did try pinging it with the cmd prompt. Got nothing. I will try tftp. Thanks!

Unable to ping and you want to try tftp? When access to router is impossible, what tftp is gonna do? Firs thing in order is hard reset the router
to bring it back tp default router mode. When you press the reset button how long do you hold it down? You should hold ir down until indicators
start blinking and let go of the button. Purpose if hard reset by button is initiallize the router and when all is well to boot it up to ready state.

I have no idea what I'm doing here, to be honest. I didn't realize tftp wouldn't work if pinging didn't work.
I have tried using the hard reset button. I've held it down for at least a minute with no change to the lights. I'm not getting any blinking or change in color or anything. It's not rebooting.
