PR2000 bricked - can it be fixed?
Hi there, Last night I stupidly tried updating the firmware to v1.0.0.15 on my PR2000 via the wireless. Needless to say, it appears to have corrupted the device. The wifi no longer works (when I ...

Sorry to hear that. Sounds like it is really messed up. If I were you I'd bite the bullet and go for new replacement. To have any hope at least CFE (common firmware environment) should be intact. Sorry again.

Having the USB light blinking didn't seem to make any difference. I've gone and bought myself a WN3000RP range extender as a replacement. Hopefully it'll work just as well (if not even better) than the PR2000.

I can't even guess what status the unit is in for now. It's called result unknown after failed attempt to update the firmware.
