Problems connecting to router

When the Powerline is connected to the wall powersucket, the power led is Turned ON after 10min. When I then connect the Powerline to the router, the powerled on the Powerline turns off.... I have tried the "Factory reset" bottom...

  • The power LED should come up immediately on connecting to the wall outlet.

     

     

    Similar, connecting the network cable e.g. to the router should not bring down the PL adapter.

     

    Based on other vendors power line adapters (not enough experience on Netgear PL), we found the lifetime of such adapters being cumbersome to say it nicely.
