I tried to use nmrpflash but maybe I'm not too sure on how it works. When I run it, it just says a bunch of stuff and then prompts me to press any button to close the program.

That "bunch of stuff" is important. These processes aren't forgiving.
Everything has to be correct, especially the "path" information and where you have the files on your PC.
You have to read the messages and understand what they say.
In the case of TFTP there are some useful videos that guide you through things.
