I just upgraded to 500mps but when i run a speed test it won't go above 100. The router is supposed to go to 433mps. What do I do?

I don't know where you got that idea from, the top speed that your R6020 router can handle is 100 Mbps. Check the specifications.

Fast Ethernet = 100 Mbps.
There is nothing you can do to your router beyond buying something more capable.
Your router is limiting you. It can only do a max of 100 Mbps. Get with the times and buy something recent
- Sadly, "recent" isn't enough. Netgear has been selling these things recently. Heaven only knows why.
