R6050 as AP
Several 6050 as AP posts, but none I can find with this problem. Trying to connect my 6050 as an AP. I can log in, get to ADVANCED>Wireless AP, and hit APPLY. Progress bar gets to about 90%, stays...

Try setting the static IP address on the R series router to 10.10.10.60 for AP mode. Gateway should be what you have set on the host router, normally 255.255.255.0 and Gateway would be 10.10.10.1. DNS can be same as 10.10.10.1 or any custom DNS if you want to use something different.

Don't know if this is relevant or not.
Since my last attempt to turn the 6050 into an AP, the APPLY progress bar got to about 90% and went to a netgear page I'll attach if I remember.
I now have two new networks listed - Netgear72-5g and NTGR-VMB-xxxxxxx. Neither connect to the internet. And I now have 2 more network connections showing - Netgear_5Gext and Netgear_24G_ext. I have the Netgear range extender on a table in my book case.
I can now NOT connect to the Asus nor the 6050 by 192.18.1.1, 10.10.10.1, or 10.10.10.3. All throw "unable to connect." I can access the internet through the Asus, but can't access the devices. Which means I can't find the settings on the 6050 to see if my changes finished or change them/try again. I'm getting tired of having to reset after every attempt. Currently, the Asus is connected to the modem wirelessly and the 6050 by cable.
Just for interest, I keep trying the "Wireless AP" setting, but will be connecting the 6050 to the Asus by cable.
