That R6050 a pretty basic router from 10 years ago.
Your best bet might be to put the R6050 into access point mode and to let the main modem/router do the heavy lifting.

It does find the Mitrastar GPT-2741GNAC. If that is what you have then, this is a modem/router.

Unless you have specific reasons for using two routers – to create two separate networks for example – it is often easier to use just one router and then to set up the second router as a wifi access point (AP) with a wired connection to the main router.
It's basically to enhance signal reach, as the ISP Router doesn't get to our bedrooms.
