R6080 - opening ports does not work

Hi zeether7, we'd like to know the following.
What is the firmware version of the R6080?
When bypassing the router and connecting straight to the modem, does the port check indicate an open port?

The firmware is version 1.0.0.52. I cannot connect directly to the modem because it's used to connect to the router and can't act as a router device itself.
Thanks for responding. The test of bypassing the router allows us to check if the port is being blocked from the ISPs end since you've mentioned that you've tried forwarding the ports from the router's end.

I don't think I can bypass the router. When I plug my Ethernet cable directly into the modem it isn't detected at all.
What is the Mfr and model# of the Internet Service Providers modem/ONT the NG router is connected too?
To get the PC connected to the modem connect the PC to the back of the modem, power OFF the modem for 1 minute then back ON. After it's ready, try accessing the internet.
