R6080 and Streaming device issues Roku

1. what firmware is on the router?
I have no idea how to find out.
2. what modem/gateway is the router connected to?

When you log into the router, the status page should have the firmware.
Try a different DNS Server. Here's a few. Also remember to change the ipv6 dns server if ipv6 is enabled.
