R6080 Freezes and loses connection
Hello - I've had this R6080 router for a little under a year. About a week ago, we would lose connection and I'd have to reboot the router in order for the connection to come back on. It would happen a couple of times per day. I started to troubleshoot including watching the log and here is what I see when it happens. The internet light turns amber, and then about 10 seconds later, I can no longer access the router via http://192.168.1.1/ and it doesn't respond. At that point, I have to reset it or turn off/back on. At no point is there anything in the log to indicate that I've lost connectivity with the modem. It just freezes completely. Nothing on the modem drops and the fact that the router no longer responds when I try to connect to it means that there's something with the router. After this started happening, I upgraded the firmware to V1.0.0.48 but the same issue still happens. There is no trigger that I have found to make this happen. It's very random.
While I'm asking, before we bought this router, our internet service was upgraded to 200 mbps. Is it true that this router will only handle up to 100 mbps?
