Do you REALLY have to pay to speak to technical support?? Sounds sketchy, don’t trust it.

If you're outside of the 90 days of free support, yes it does cost money. Unless you have a total hardware failure.
Or you can use the community forum as its free on here as its people from the public helping out.
But we'd need a description of your issue, what you've tried, and your home setup.
(btw, that router is a pretty low performing 10/100mbps router)
This place is free.
But if you called someone you found with a web search, there is a high probability that it is a scam.
