I cannot rename the attached devices. When editing the device name I enter what I want it to display and I get an error routerlogin device name not valid. I used to be able to change the device names ...

Where are you trying? The browser graphical user interface (GUI) and the mobile app?

 

I am a great fan of the desktop genie for things like that.
