R6200 a portion of the "NETGEAR" logo is flashing on front of router

I have a model R6200 Router and the "NETGEAR" logo on the front of the router is half lit or will go out entirely. The router is currently working fine, but the half lit or blinking logo is annoying. Does anyone know what I can do to fix it?

    Put some tape over it so you can't see all of it?

    or if you're comfortable soldering, maybe you can replace the led that's bad. 

    Not something I'd attempt.
