R6220 - static route ignored after restart or WAN link down.

Hi,

I saw this 2 year old discussion https://community.netgear.com/t5/General-WiFi-Routers-Non/R6220-loosing-static-route/td-p/1493836 but no solution.I have the same issue.

Static route works fine after being configured but is ignored after reboot or WAN link down (e.g. disconnect / connect the WAN cable). The below traceroute commands demonstrates the issue. After restart the router route destination 192.168.1.10 over the WAN port instead of 192.168.0.2 on the LAN port. After edit/save of the static route in the router without any changes the static route is fine again. The below attached log demonstrate it.

I have not tested older firmwares as the issue has been around for several years.

Netgear / anyone please advise.

Kind regards,

Per
