R6220 loses connection after 30min

Hi guys, I recently made the switch from my old & trusty Asus RT-N15U to a R6220.   I ran the interface and was instantly connected. But for some reason that I can't figure out, every 30 min I lose...

I tried not running the router as a DHCP and the only difference it made was that my iOS devices didn't get an IP. Still drops the connection after 30 minutes from restart on the dot.

      Hi DexterJB

       

      I'm experiencing the exact same problem with my R6220. Every 30 minutes the Internet connection drops and I need to reboot the router to get it working again.

       

      I've tried your tip regarding changing the MTU but according to the ping results there was no need to change the defaul value (1500).

       

      Any suggestions what to do next?

        Hi Bjarn,

         

        1. What is the firmware version of the router?

        2. Is the connection straight from the modem stable?

        3. Have you tried changing the Ethernet cable that is connecting the modem to the router?

        4. Have you tried resetting the router?

        5. Does the issue persist on all your devices (wired and wireless)?
