R6230 firmware corrupted
At some point my router bricked during a firmware update. The desktop I have is a pre-built gaming PC that does NOT have a CD disk drive installed. I can't put any disks into this PC. I've tried usin...

Desktop.C Is one of those windows special folders that is buried in the depths of your system.
You can put the firmware file anywhere you like on the drive. Pick somewhere that you can easily find with a series of "cd" commands.
The first thing to go to:
cd\
That takes you to the top of the tree
C:\>
Then just drill down to where you put the file.
You can even use Windows to copy the location, something like:
"C:\Downloads\"
Then "CD C:\Downloads\"
Just play around. You cant do much damage at this stage.
Additionally, when I downloaded the ZIP file, the format is not .img or .chk
The file here:
