R6250 browser interface

I never resolved the issue. My cable provider sent out a tech, that didn't help. Reset the router more than once, power-cycled all the gear, triggered multiple hardware resets. Nothing helped. I ended up purchasing a new router rather than continuing to fight this issue.

Try
4 > 2 > 3 > Reboot PC > 5
This is so that the PC see that there is a router connected and can configure its own network connection accordingly.
This is the usual network reboot cycle:
- Turn off and unplug modem.
- Turn off router and computers.
- Plug in and turn on modem. Wait 2 minutes for it to connect.
- Turn on the router and wait 2 minutes for it to connect.
- Turn on computers and rest of network.
This bit is a bit odd in the first message:
I can browse to https://192.168.0.1/Login.html and log in to my Arris modem. Browsing to 192.168.1.1 I get an error "This site can’t be reached."
I wouldn't expect to be able to get at both of those from a PC connected to modem and router.

ok, I will follow the steps you describe and check in with you a bit later. It sounds like the point you made at the end of your response is that I'm attempting to do something that is not possible? I can log in to the modem's interface, and was hoping to log in to the router as well, but I think you are stating that this is not possible. Confirm that please?
What is unfortunate is that when I started all of this, the issue was that my phone and television would not connect to the Wi-Fi. I contacted support for Vyve, my ISP, and somehow a reset that she performed remotely resulted in my being able to connect to Wi-Fi. But with that working, I then tried to follow the above instructions and that knocked down my Wi-Fi connection again. I reached the support tech again yesterday afternoon and her efforts to reset the modem were not successful in terms of getting the router to play nice again.
So at this point I have a service call scheduled for Tuesday, and I'm hoping that if possible, powering everything down (per your direction) will at least get Wi-Fi to talk again.

That is my understanding, based on my use of a separate standalone DSL modem. Maybe cable modems are different.
If the router is in the IP range 191.168.1.1 to 192.168.255.255, then 191.168.0.1 is outside that address range. At least, it can't reach my modem. I have to connect to the modem without getting the router involved.
Looking at the manual for your modem, it claims that the default IP address is191.168.100.1.
