R6250 router and Ooma VOIP

I have Ooma Office VOIP. The base station is plugged into my R6250 wireless router. My internet service provider is C Spire fiber for the home. Ooma tech support says the router is blocking Ooma from...

Thank you for responding. I've pasted the instructions from Ooma below. Because I'm not an IT person or IT savvy, I don't really know what they mean. Do they make sense to you? Again, my ISP is of no help.

 

1)            Contact your ISP internet service provider  (get Tech support)

Give them this list of instructions

      Reserve the IP address on the router ( You can give them the MAC address that is located on the back of your main Ooma base, top) ip address at this moment:

2)            Put that IP address to the DMZ ( this will open all your ports for that IP address only) If ISP is unable to put to the DMZ then do step 3, otherwise skip step 3

3)            If unable to put into DMZ; Open service ports (UDP 53, UDP 123, UDP 514, UDP 1194, UDP 3386, UDP 3480, UDP 10000 – 30000, TCP 110, TCP 53, TCP 443 If Isp cannot put modem router into dmz or open service ports If ISP cannot put into DMZ or open Service ports ask to put Modem/Router into Bridgemode (This will disable your firewall) Ask ISP for clarification on BRIDGEMODE

4)            Set QoS for that IP address ( giving bandwidth priority to that IP address) We recommend 1.0 Mbits/sec - 2.0 Mbits/sec upstream data.

5)            Disconnect the Ethernet cord from the router of Ooma, unplug the Ooma main base, reboot your router and get internet back up, plug the Ethernet cord of Ooma back and then plug the power back.
