R6260 blocks google meet

Hello,

My router R6260 seems to treat google meet connections as DoS attacks and consequently blocks them. It currently has the firmware version V1.1.0.78_1.0.1 but had this problem since it was first bought 10 months ago.

Connection on my laptop/smartphone would sometimes drop during meetings; an extract from the log of the router showed this:

copying 173.194.76.125 on a browser clearly shows it is a google server.

Any ideas? The router does not have any options regarding his firewall.

Thanks in advance

    Hi almanfu,

    Welcome to NETGEAR Community!

First of all, we do apologize for the inconvenience of not getting back to you immediately due to the backlog in the system. You may try to open the NAT Filtering of the router. Go to Advanced Settings> Setup>WAN Setup> Click on Open instead of Secure. Then Apply the settings.

Please do not hesitate to let me know if you need further assistance.

    Regards,
