R6260 future Firmware update

For the next planned firmware upgrade,   would you please enable ( if technically possible ) the router to use DNS over HTTPS for connected devices, as well as increased reliability in maintaining...

I was going to agree that that router is a pretty old/low performing device. 

Doubtful how much time/resources netgear is going to devote to it. 

If you're needing additional specs, I'd look at upgrading or trying 3rd party firmware (if there is for that router)

    It is the old "you get what you pay for" mantra.

    Those R6### routers were always budget devices. Some even had 100 Mbps LAN well into the 2010s.

     

    I have a feeling that these routers were too lame to attract the attention of the firmware hackers.
