R6300 router loses internet connection when GS205 switch is connected
I have a R6300 router that has been working great for a number of years. I have a number of devices wired directly to it (Magic Jack, etc.) and everything works flawlessly. The 2.4 and 5G wireless ...
Well, it happened again. Not sure what the cause is, but after a few days of everything working, everything died on me - no wired or wireless internet connectivity. I unplugged the power to the GS205 and everything is instantly fixed. Then I plug the power back into the GS205 and reconnect everything one by one and the wired connections work. Truly makes no sense to me why this keeps occurring, but at least I have a fix for it now.

I saw your post earlier but could not immediately think of an explanation. Since you specifically asked for my input, can you describe exactly how everything is connected? Perhaps you have a forwarding loop somewhere.
