R6300 v2 internal clock cannot synchronize with the time server
My R6300 v2 router internal clock has failed to synchronize with the time server since the firmware v.1.0.3.26. up till the latest update v.1.04.50. The time in the "Schedule" has been incorrectly shown as "1/1/2003". Last Sept I wrote to the Netgear Support Team that it was the defective firmware v.1.0.3.26 of which some features probably disabled the router to synchronize with the time server thereafter. They could not provide any solution and said that their engineering team was working on this issue and told me to check from time to time for possible firmware update that would be released. Yet, I still cannot see any firmware update to address this issue after 4 months lapsed.
I have tried most of the methods as suggested on this forum but the issue still remains unsolved. Would anyone please help me to solve this issue as I noted that many users of this router and other models also encountering the same issue, ie. the router cannot synchronize with the time server. Many thanks.

- kcckAspirantI read from this Community that the issue of failure of this router to connect with the NTP server might be fixed region by region some years ago. Yet, being a user in Hong Kong, unfortunately I still encountered the issue without any feedback from the Netgear Support and the Engineering team. Given the disappointing Netgear after-sale service, it seems the issue will never be fixed and hence I have to dispose of this R6300v2 router.
