R6330-1AZNAS router works ok but does not show all users

I just installed the R6330-1AZNAS . NETGEAR WIFI  (firmware updated) Nighthawk only shows 8 users, I can turn off each user, but my grandson is still on line with his android Tab-a (2016 I think)

What can I do to add it to the list and limit his on line time?

What firmware version do you have on the device?

A number is more useful than "updated" or "the latest". (It may not be by the time people read this.) There can also be newer versions, or "hot fixes", that do not show up if you check for new firmware in the browser interface.

Where are you looking for on-line devices? The browser graphical user interface (GUI)? An App (iOS/Android)?

I installed this unit less than a moth ago. It connected to Netgear host and down loaded what was current then.  And did not show the grandsons unit I have his MAC number its not listed by nighthawk

      firmware v1.1.0.88_1.0.1

Just checked to day and up todate

Unfortunately, that is not the most reliable test.

In this case, the test is correct! No missing Hotfix.

Unfortunately, Mac addresses are also less reliable than they were. iPhones have taken to changing their Mac addresses more often than some of us change our socks. They are not alone in adopted a "random mac address" as a security measure.

  • Are you doing it through the app or through the browser?

Check in the browser as the app isn't always accurate.

Just looked on I pad thru the router, his is listed  and it now shows  up on Nighthawk, but when I try to disallow access, it says "sorry that action failed, try again"  3 times
