R6350 (AC1750) doesn't recognize USB
Just tried to connect a USB to my AC1750 router (R6350) for ReadySHARE use between 2 computers. I can't even get the USB to show up in my Routerlogin.net. I am such a novice that every article I've...

Did you ever try to work out why the router in the C6230 failed?
Have you gone into the C6230 and disabled the router bit?
It may appear to be defunct to you, but if the router bit remains active, even if it doesn't work it could interfere with the operation of your network.

Did you ever try to work out why the router in the C6230 failed?

Thanks, but the answer to all is "no". Way beyond my knowledge and capability.
But as I said, I'm using One Drive and so it's all OK (until Microsoft empties my bank account)

This stuff can seem. But it isn't that complicated.
The first thing to try would be to use a USB drive with an acceptable format. Anything but ExFAT seems to be the rule.
