R6350 Dead after update, can't factory reest either.
I have had this router for about 2-year and normally I stay away from fireware updates because it's been my experience with these routers that something always goes wrong. I should have listen to ...

Thanks. This worked. Had to to slightly change the procedure. If I hold the factory reset for 10 secs after the reboot, the power and USB lights alternate blinking and the router did not appear receptive to taking a file. When powering back up, I stopped holding the factory reset button and the power light came on at started to blink. at that point, I used TFTP from windows 10 command prompt to "put" the fireware file to the router. It took the file and then after about 10 minutes all lights when off... and it looked to be dead again. A walked away for about 30 minutes... came back.. still looked dead. I powered it off and back on and power light came on, stopped blinking and the wireless light was also on. So I knew something different happened at least. Was able to login to the router and all my previous settings were there with the update.... so now its working.. which is great.
This looks to be a common issue with these routers from NetGear. I hope they address it. If it was for this help I would of ended up trashing this router and purchased a router from a different company.
