R6400 and Nokia fiber endpoint from Frontier

I'm having trouble getting a Netgear R6400 to connect to the internet through a Frontier provided Nokia fiber optic end point. Anyone have any thoughts? I do have internet access when using the crappy Frontier Communications router.
