R6400 not recognizing WD My Book 4TB
I'm attempting to connect a 4TB WD My Book external harddrive to my R6400 but it is not appearing on the computer and does not cause the USB light to illuminate. I plugged the harddrive directly into the computer and it was recognized and also used a small USB thumb drive in the router and it was recognized.
Firmware Version : V1.0.1.24_1.0.18
After doing a bit more research, I reformatted the hard drive and made it NTFS and it now works.
