      slow speed issue, a few weeks ago my router just started slowing download speeds down, i'm supposed to be getting over 100mbps and i do when connect directly to the modem but it slows down to like 5-20mbps when i connect my router, i'm connected via cat 5 wire, my Firmware Version V1.0.1.24_1.0.18, i don't know what the problem is.  i have the router for about 16 months now and it have been working great untill a few weeks ago

        Router Model:  R6400 AC1750

        Firmware:  V1.0.1.20_1.0.16

         

        I encountered the same issue after upgrading to the latest firmware.  WIFI connection became very very very slow and unreliable.  I downgraded to version V1.0.1.20_1.0.16 and it seems to have helped, although the WIFI is still slow compared to before I upgraded to the latest firmware.

         

        I suggest to downgrade and see how that goes.  Make sure to reset your router first before downgrading.
