One thing to check would be the voltage on the power supply if you have a meter. I've not had or seen that problem, but my two immediate thoughts are bad power supply or component failure perhaps because heat. Heat is always an issue, so best to have it in a well ventilated area. Not saying your isn't, just making mention.

Thanks for your inputs. Heat should not be an issue because i placed the router on the table with nothing around it. I will find another power adapter to see if the it is really the root cause.

Hi BillyNg,
1. Is your connected device still getting a valid IP address?
2. You may check the link below on how to proceed with TFTP.

Hello Dexter,
Thanks for your follow-up. Unfortunately I have not found a stable power adapter with such high output current (2.5A). I tried with the car outlet (12V) but it seemed not enough power for this router, the power LED was red all the time. I will keep you updated once I can find a good power supply.

"not enough power"? Do you really think that your car can't supply
2.5A? What's the fuse rating on that "outlet"? Your router may have
problems beyond its power supply.
