R6400 trouble connecting printer

MacBook OS Sierra

Printer Brother HL-1430

Neatgear USB Control Center does not show the printer name only Printer - - and is able to connect. After connecting is states 'Mannually connected to MacBook'. Nevertheless the printer is offline, so the router does not activate the printer. After manually activating the printer it still states the printer is offline.

The Firewall is off, the printer USB cable is working correct what cann it be more?

  • Hi Olivier21,

    1. Please try removing and adding the printer on your Mac.

    2. If the issue persists, please try uninstalling and re-installing the USB Control Center.

    3. Does the issue persist on your other computers?

    Regards,
