R6400 used as a switch, not as a router
I just got T- Mobile 5g internet and I am using the wifi signal from it. I want to use my Nighthawk router as a switch so I turned off the wifi on the Nighthawk and connected the router (switch) via...

You could turn the R6400 into a wireless access point. Then just turn the wifi off with the switch on the top.

I see no sign that AP mode disables ReadySHARE.

PS There really was no need to waste anyone'e time by going to a different section to deal with this issue. The question is generic and the answer would be the same for the Nighthawk section as it is for this one.
Yes it is the same issue. I tried the AP setting and it did not work. Thanks for your help.
