R6400v2 Speed issue

There is far too little information there to allow anyone to begin to suggest what might be going on.
with the latest firmware V1.0.4.118_10.0.90 my speeds have dropped from 500/500 to around 200/150 , on firmware version 1.0.3.66 i was getting 500 down and up , but ever since i updated the firmware im getting no more than 200 mbps . i've been having this issue for a while now. i tried rebooting and factory resetting the router .
It might also help if you told people what the modem is in front of this router, if there is one. The model number could be useful. Is it, by any chance, also a router, with a set of LAN ports on the back?
The reason for asking is that a lot of people turn up here trying to put a router behind a modem that is also a router. That can complicate troubleshooting.im using a modem/ont provided to me by verizon fios

That just says you have a box on the wall. It tells us nothing about what it is and what it can do.
