I need to re install my Netgear router, since when the power went out, it is not connected to my modem. While using the CD setup, it states is requires Adobe Flash X player. Adobe Flash X player is not longer available?
What is the best way to do a re install, or do I just get a newer Netgear router?

1. what modem/gateway are you connecting it to?
2. you don't need a cd to install it. Have you followed the guide for it?
You can find guides for installing it with an app or just using the browser here: https://www.netgear.com/support/product/r6400v2.aspx

Before you do anything, when this happens try the simplest option and reboot your network in the required order.
Power cuts usually take out both the modem and the router on a network. When the power comes back on, they may start up in the wrong order, with the router starting before the modem is ready. That means that they get confused about which is in charge.
You need the modem to connect to the Internet before the router tries to connect.
Be sure to restart your network in this sequence:- Turn off and unplug modem.
- Turn off router and computers.
- Plug in and turn on modem. Wait 2 minutes for it to connect.
- Turn on the router and wait 2 minutes for it to connect.
- Turn on computers and rest of network.
