R7000 Netgear router

Had a question about Netgear router. Wife called Netgear and she was told they could connect her with a technician but there would be a charge. Is this how Netgear operates help? If this is true there will be no more Netgear products in this home.

  • Support is free for the first 90 days of purchase on new devices. There is a hardware warranty on devices but if the harware turns on/works, then there is a charge after the 90 days to help with. Most consumer networking companies have something similar as they can't afford to be a persons own IT department.

But most places also have some type of community forum where users can go for help (like you found here).

We're more than willing to help.

    What questions/issue do you have?

Only if you demand personal help from a paid technician. This place is free.
