RB50 and new MacBook M1 - Constant disconnects / slow speeds
Just purchased a new MacBook M1. I'm dealing with disconnects and slow speeds. When this happens it appears that my Macbook is connect to the 2.4GHZ network. I'm guessing I need to seperate SSI...
hi, did you ever get this sorted? Have same issue with brand new MBP M1 running latest Big Sur version.

Hi, unfortunatly no. I ended up buying a new TPLink mesh system and the disconnects have stopped. Crazy that I had to buy a new router, but probably time to upgrade anyway.
I have an Orbi AX4200 triband wifi 6 Mesh and am running into the disconnected from internet while connected to the router issue pretty much daily. I just got the M1 last week for work. My previous work macbook did not have this problem.
If anyone knows a fix for the router or the M1 that works, please let me know
Netgear has set up a community forum specifically for the Orbi AX (WiFi 6) products. Most of the people who watch that forum are more likely to have experience with Orbi AX and know how to work it better than those of us who follow this "general Orbi" forum.
